ABOUT US

The Health Professions Councils of Namibia consists of five (5) Councils established by the following Acts:
Medical and Dental Act, 2004 (Act No. 10 of 2004)

Objective

Promoting the health and well-being of Namibia's population
Determining and upholding standards of Education and Training
Setting, maintaining and promoting good standard of professional practice and conduct
Keeping the registers of each health profession for which provision is made in terms of the relevant Acts
Advising the Minister of Health and Social Services on matters pertaining to these Acts as well as to the Health and well-being of the population in general.
